Introducing Nubbo: your cloud storage, simplified

Nubbo is a free cloud storage management platform that connects the main S3-compatible providers (AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, DigitalOcean Spaces, Wasabi and Backblaze B2), plus any S3-compatible or self-hosted server, in a single interface. It does not host your files. No vendor lock-in. You only pay for the storage you actually use at your provider.

What Nubbo is

Nubbo is a management layer on top of your existing cloud storage. It does not store your files: every transfer happens directly between your browser and your provider via presigned URLs. What it gives you is a much better way to interact with your buckets and objects.

Connect your credentials and every bucket and file will be accessible from a single place, with the same experience whether you work with one provider or five.

What it includes today

• Unified file explorer across buckets and providers, with grid and list views.
• Drag and drop uploads straight to your provider via presigned URLs. Files never pass through Nubbo servers.
• Built-in media player for video and audio with playlists, speed control and picture-in-picture.
• Built-in code and Markdown editor with syntax highlighting (Monaco) to edit files in place without downloading them.
• File sharing with optional password, expiration and download limits.
• File requests. Generate a public upload link so clients can send files directly to your bucket.
• Photo and video galleries with masonry, grid and slideshow layouts, custom branding, watermarks and likes.
• Password reveal by email. Send the password of a protected share by a separate one-time email link, kept apart from the access URL.
• Labels, favorites and trash to organize and protect files across every provider.
• AES-256-GCM credential encryption. 2FA with TOTP and recovery codes. Zero access to the contents of your files.
• Zero-knowledge on shares, galleries and file requests. Full zero-knowledge for folders and individual files will arrive with the Pro plan.
• In-app and email notifications, configurable per type, with an optional daily digest.
• GDPR data export in one click.
• English and Spanish across the entire interface.

Security by default

We take your credentials seriously. They are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. The encryption key lives as an environment variable and never touches the database. Even if the database were compromised, your credentials would stay protected.

Because every transfer uses presigned URLs, your files never pass through our servers. They go directly between your browser and your cloud provider.
