No. Nubbo never stores your files. It acts as a management layer on top of your own cloud storage accounts. Uploads and downloads happen directly between your browser and your cloud provider using presigned URLs.

Nubbo currently supports AWS S3, DigitalOcean Spaces, Cloudflare R2, Wasabi, Backblaze B2 and any S3-compatible or self-hosted server. All use an S3-compatible interface, so the experience is consistent across providers. We're actively working on adding more providers and features.

All cloud provider credentials are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before being stored in the database. The encryption key is an environment variable that never touches the database. Even if the database were compromised, your credentials remain safe.

Nubbo uses presigned URLs for uploads, so files go directly to your cloud provider. Large files are handled automatically with multipart uploads. The limits are determined by your cloud provider, not Nubbo. Most providers support objects up to 5 TB.

Yes. Generate share links, file request inboxes and professional galleries from any folder, all with optional password, expiration and configurable limits. The password can be sent to the recipient via a separate one-time email link, kept apart from the access URL.

Yes. Nubbo moves or copies files and folders between your buckets, accounts and even different providers. Transfers within the same account run server-side, while transfers across different accounts or clouds happen directly through your browser.

Yes! Nubbo is completely free to use. Just sign up and start managing your cloud storage. Advanced plans with premium features for individual users and subscriptions for teams and businesses are coming soon.
